CIRS Agenda_2015

Advisory Committees

A key value of CIRS is its ability to bring regulators, industry thought leaders and academics together in a neutral and constructive atmosphere to identify and address key issues in the development and regulation of new medicines. To this end, CIRS has from the outset received invaluable help and support from a panel of advisors made up of senior executives from research-based pharmaceutical companies, government regulatory agencies and academia.

SCIENTIFIC ADVISORY COUNCIL

The SAC serves an advisory role regarding the CIRS mission; actively guides CIRS with respect to workshop topics, content and presenters; advises on the conduct of special studies and surveys and comments on the scientific content of selected publications developed by CIRS.

ADVISORY MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

The AMC provides advice and guidance on matters related to CIRS organisation and operations and advises on policies and strategies.

SPECIALIST ADVISORS TO THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Specialist Advisors are topical experts who have served on the SAC or who have been identified by CIRS to provide informed advice with regard to special projects, regional issues and special communication activities.
